What do you like most about Laserfiche?

The ability to store so many live documents where all of our satellite offices can log on, view and make changes without having to continually emailing documents and resaving on their desktops and not knowing who in the Town has the most current version. This also allows staff more time for other items as one person is not taking all of the documents and re-entering the information into the “master” document.

The Laserfiche cchievement I'm most proud of:

The entire implantation of the upgrade. What a feat we took on! We gained information to upgrade beginning in February of 2009, upgraded our Version 7 to Client 8.1, purchased Workflow and Audit Trail and had installed and running by August 2009. This was a great feat as Town Council directed us they wanted to go “paper-less” during their meetings so having Paper-Lite help us with the install and teaching us Workflow was just amazing, anyone who knows, that is not the easiest program to start with! But it works GREAT and all of our Boards and Commissions are following quickly on the “paper-less” system as to become a more “Green” Community.

In the future, I'm looking forward to...

Learning more ways to help the productivity of the Town with the help of Laserfiche and all its partners. We are working to integrate Energov right now with Laserfiche and I am excited to see how this may help us and the Community to streamline the Permit process.

My organization's future plans for Laserfiche are:

Continue to develop the system with old files as to allow the residents of Brownsburg access on-line to documents. This will enable us to be more user friendly with the residents as they will no longer have to take off work to come into the office.
