My favorite thing about Laserfiche is listening to the staff's needs and then figuring out which of Laserfiche's many tools I will use to solve their problems.

The Laserfiche achievement I’m most proud of:

I'm most proud of my first project. The week I took the position of Laserfiche Administrator we had a project to scan the documents from our Tax Policy Division's filing cabinets and make them searchable. With a little guidance from our the staff at BMI (our reseller) I set up a Quick Fields session. Using a user defined “pick sheet" the documents were scanned. The fields on the “pick sheet” used the existing drawer and file name and delivered the images into the file structure that, now were stored within Laserfiche. During the process the images were OCR’d and now are fully text searchable. With a few adjustments, it worked like a charm.

I am looking forward to learning more about how to use Laserfiche. I know there are hundreds of ways to apply the tools of this application to enhance the services we offer the citizens of our state.
